What you get for helping

The first 20 testers who stay opted in for the full 2-week test get Gryper Pro free for 12 months when it launches.

  • The offer is capped at 20 testers. Once 20 people have completed the full test, it’s closed — later testers are still very welcome, just without the year of Pro.
  • You have to stay opted in for the whole two weeks. Leaving early — or uninstalling and dropping out of the test — doesn’t count.
  • Gryper Pro doesn’t exist yet. It hasn’t launched, and there’s nothing to buy today. The 12 months are granted to your account at launch, using the email you give on the form below.
  • It’s 12 months free — a year, not forever. After that, Pro is a normal paid upgrade and the free tier keeps working as it always has.

What’s involved

  • An Android phone you train with — that’s the only hardware requirement.
  • You’ll install a test build from Google Play, the same way as any other app.
  • Keep it installed and open it a few times over roughly two weeks.
  • Send a little feedback — what broke, what felt slow, what you’d change.

Questions

Is it free?+

Yes. The closed test costs nothing, and Gryper’s core tracking — logging, routines, the exercise library, heatmaps — stays free after launch. Gryper Pro will be a paid upgrade for the deeper analytics, which is exactly what the first 20 testers get free for 12 months.

Will it slow my phone down or eat my data?+

No. Gryper is a workout tracker, not a background service: it does its work while you have it open, and there’s no always-on tracking. Sets are logged offline and sync when you’re back online, so a session in a basement gym costs you no data at all.

When does Pro arrive?+

Gryper Pro isn’t out yet — it has no billing or subscription mechanism behind it today. The 12 months free are granted to your account at launch, manually, from the email you give on the form. That’s why the Play Store email has to be right.

How do I leave the test?+

Uninstall the app and opt out from the tester link at any time — no notice, no penalty, nothing to cancel. Leaving before the two weeks are up just means you fall outside the 12-months-free offer, which needs a full opted-in fortnight.
