Privacy Policy

Gryper (“we”, “us”) is a workout-tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what’s needed to run the app and never sell your data.

• Account data: your email address and, if you choose it, your name from Sign in with Apple or Google.
• Profile data: details you enter, such as body weight, experience level, and unit preferences.
• Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weights, templates, and the analytics derived from them.
• Technical data: basic, anonymized diagnostics used to keep the app stable.
• Product usage data: which screens you visit and actions you take (for example, finishing a workout), tied to your account ID only — never your email, name, or the weights, reps, or notes you log. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and we do not record your screen. You can turn this off at any time in Profile → Preferences → “Share usage analytics”.

• To provide workout logging, syncing, and analytics.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To understand which parts of the app are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve it.

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase, and protected by row-level security so that you can only access your own records. Data is encrypted in transit. Workouts are also cached on your device to support offline use.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that power the app (such as Supabase for storage and authentication, Apple or Google for sign-in, and PostHog for privacy-conscious product analytics, hosted in the EU), and only as needed to operate Gryper.

You can export or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account from Profile → Account permanently removes your profile, workouts, and analytics, and revokes any Sign in with Apple association. If you no longer have the app installed, see how to delete your account for an email request route. Product usage analytics can be turned off separately, without deleting your account, in Profile → Preferences. You may also email us to exercise privacy rights available in your region.

Gryper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
